OTHELLO, Wash. — A 46-year-old man was arrested on Monday after police received information that he was involved in a fight in Othello where he was in possession of two firearms.

Officers with Othello Police Department, along with other agencies, were able to locate and arrest a suspect involved in a fight that occurred

On Jan. 27 around 10:40 a.m., Othello police were called to a home in the 900 block of south 7th Avenue. Dispatchers said that the caller was only able to say, “just get over here.”

Officers responding to the home learned that there was a fight that occurred where two firearms were seen.

A 22-year-old and a 13-year-old from Othello were allegedly assaulted by Levi Gonzalez, 46. By the time officers were on scene, Gonzalez had already left the home.

Through initial investigation, police learned that Gonzalez got into a fight with the two victims and had two firearms, one in each hand for a short time.

One firearm was located by Othello police at the scene.

Adams County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the search for Gonzalez, but he was not located.

A couple days later on Jan. 29, investigating officers along with Kennewick Police Department were able to locate Gonzalez.

He was taken into custody without incident in Kennewick and was booked into jail under suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm and two counts of assault in the 4th degree.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available. Check back for updates.
