AHSAHKA, Idaho — Clearwater County deputies arrested an Ahsahka man on Wednesday who has been charged with first-degree murder.
On Jan. 24 around 1:50 a.m., the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 Happy Loop in Ahsahka after receiving reports of a possible homicide.
As deputies arrived on scene they found a deceased man later identified as 38-year-old Ronnie Lee Cheney from Casper, Wyoming.
At the scene, deputies arrested 44-year-old Andrew Martson who has been charged with first-degree murder and persistent violator. He is currently in jail and is being held on a $750,000 bond.
