SPOKANE, Wash. – We are just weeks away from the 50-year anniversary of Expo ’74 in Spokane. Celebration plans have been in the works for several months, and you can get in on all the fun beginning May 4th and lasting through the Fourth of July.

Many of our local businesses will have a hand in the events and celebrations, including No-Li Brewhouse. For owners John and Cindy Bryant, Expo ’74 has been in the very foundation of their business since it began 12 years ago. Nods to the World’s Fair can be spotted all over No-Li, in and outside.

“When we created the brewery 12 years ago, we saw the greatness in Spokane,” John said.

Tributes to Expo ’74 can be spotted in their logo. There’s also a replica of the Monroe Street Bridge, a custom Spokane chandelier and even an original gondola.

Like so many in our community, Cindy says she has so many special memories from the epic event.

“My grandparents had season passes, we could go unlimited times,” Cindy said.

No-Li will no doubt be a part of the weeks long celebrations, and you can be too by becoming a member of Club ’74. On Saturday, Nonstop Local KHQ will host a connect center to help anyone interested in Club ’74 join. You can learn more here: Expo ’74 | khq.com
