SPOKANE, Wash. – A kitchen fire in north Spokane left four cats dead Monday afternoon.
According to the Spokane Fire Department (SFD), a stovetop fire escalated into a kitchen fire the afternoon of Dec. 11. SFD quickly knocked down the fire and remain on the scene to mop up.
No one was injured, but SFD confirmed three cats were killed, and two were rescued from the flames.
