SPOKANE, Wash. – More cases of measles have been reported in Spokane on Thursday, both coming from the same household as the first reporting case.
The first individual who contracted measles, which was confirmed on Feb. 20 by the Spokane Regional Health District (SRHD), reportedly came into contact with the virus while abroad.
The individual was at the Spokane International Airport on Feb. 12 and isolated later that week.
The three measles patients have been quarantined since the first case was reported and there are no new points of public exposure.
All three patients are unvaccinated, according to the Spokesman Review.
