COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho- A man from Stevensville, Montana was arrested by an Idaho County sheriff’s deputy and charged with three felony counts related to stealing a vehicle in Stites yesterday.
On the morning of Feb. 20 a deputy received a report that a Chevy pickup truck was stolen.
At around 1pm that day, an off-duty sheriff’s deputy saw the truck parked on the side of Highway 13. Deputies arrested the man, identified as Gregory Lanoue, who was standing outside of the truck when engaged by law enforcement.
Lanoue was booked into Idaho County Jail and was charged with grand theft, burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle.
