VICTOR, Idaho — Jeremy Best, who was wanted for potential connection to the death of his wife and kidnapping of his 10-month-old son Zeke Best, has been taken into custody.
According to the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, a group of hunters found Best asleep in a sleeping bag on the side of Kepps Crossing Road near Dan Creek Road.
The callers stated that the man was naked and making odd comments.
Officers arrived and searched the scene, finding Zeke Best, the missing 10-month-old, dead in Best’s abandoned car that was in an off-road embankment.
Bonneville County Detectives are investigating with the Idaho State. Police and agents from the FBI are assisting in investigating this case.
