MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Dean Phillips is ending his long-shot Democratic primary challenge of President Joe Biden after failing to win a primary contest. The Democratic congressman from Minnesota built his White House bid around calls for a new generation of party leadership while spending freely from his personal fortune. But Phillips announced Wednesday he’s suspending his campaign. Phillips lost every state in which he competed. But this may not be the end of Phillips’ presidential ambitions. Phillips has previously expressed interest in running for president with the centrist group No Labels.
