Messy and unsettled throughout the weekend

A strong warm front is the culprit behind widespread rain Saturday for the valley floors as well as the mountains, with snow levels rising above 5000ft. With so much rain in the forecast through the day, we will be keeping an on small rivers, creeks and streams and potential rock slides, especially in the mountains. In addition, there are a couple of forecast models that suggest we could see a few thunderstorms, mainly in the NE mountains of Oregon Saturday afternoon.

Daytime highs will remain in the mid to upper 50’s, with overnight lows in the low 40’s.

Sunday, daytime highs remain in the low to mid 50’s and showers are more scattered throughout the day before a stronger round of rain moves in overnight into Monday, making for a soggy start to the work week.
