OTHELLO, Wash. – A man was injured on Saturday night after crashing into another car on Washington State Route 17 near Othello.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), on May 25th, around 11:37 p.m., a semi-truck was traveling southbound on State Route 17 at milepost 32 while another car was traveling northbound three miles north of Othello.
The truck driver then crossed the route’s center line and collided with the northbound car. Subsequently, both vehicles came to rest on the shoulder of the northbound side of the route, as reported by WSP.
The driver of the car then dialed 911, prompting the arrival of WSP and emergency response units, who transported the injured truck driver to Kadlec Regional Hospital.
The extent of the injuries and the current condition of the truck driver are unknown at this time.
According to WSP, both cars were totaled in the crash.
