GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – A man is dead after a hit-and-run crash in Grant County early Sunday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), a 2021 Ford F150 and a 1989 Toyota Camry were driving northbound on State Route 17. WSP said the driver of the Ford F150, Jeremiah Gregg, rear-ended the Toyota, causing Gregg to roll into the northbound shoulder.
The driver of the Toyota stopped on the southbound shoulder, and everyone inside fled the scene.
36-year-old Jeremiah Gregg was pronounced dead at the scene. WSP said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
