LEGO build of Spokane on display at City Hall

SPOKANE, Wash. — A LEGO re-creation of downtown Spokane’s Riverfront District is displayed at City Hall, where local artist Shane Deegan’s 15,000-piece masterpiece captures the city’s most recognizable landmarks.

Deegan spent 250 hours constructing the detailed model.

It showcases the Spokane River and Riverfront Park area along with the area’s distinctive bridges and The Pavilion.

City officials have made the display available for public viewing at City Hall, where it will remain for the next few weeks.

The installation offers residents and visitors an opportunity to see their city from a unique perspective.
