KOOTENAI COUNTY, IDAHO – Members of the Kootenai County Fire and Rescue crew as well as the Coeur d’Alene Fires Department are using the snow for training.
They went deep into the back country to practice rescues for an avalanche.
The department says it was a great opportunity to familiarize themselves with equipment and to make sure they are ready for when disaster strikes.
