KETTLE FALLS, Wash. – A man was arrested for possession of child pornography Wednesday after local law enforcement served a search warrant on his home in Kettle Falls.
According to a social media post from Stevens County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the search warrant was conducted by Stevens County Sheriff Detectives, Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children and the Kettle Falls Police Department after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
The man, identified as 30-year-old Robert Mangis, was arrested for possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and booked into the Stevens County Jail.
According to SCSO, there does not appear to be any local victims to this crime at this point in the investigation.
