Kettle Falls Early Learning Center employee arrested after ‘inappropriately touching a child’

KETTLE FALLS, Wash. – A Kettle Falls School District Early Learning Center employee was arrested after he was seen touching a child who attended the center.

According to the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), Nathaniel Ford, 32, was observed “inappropriately touching a child” just after 3 p.m. on Feb. 8. Ford was arrested and booked into the Stevens County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation.

Ford appeared for his preliminary hearing on Jan. 9 and will be held on a $ 5,000 bail.
