ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. – A man was arrested in Adams County after police said he crashed through a fence and side-swiped a home while attempting to elude deputies.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle around 3 a.m. The driver failed to stop, plowed through a fence and side-swiped a home while trying to get away.
The driver successfully eluded deputies and went to a place where police vehicles were limited.
Residential surveillance video provided to ACSO allowed deputies to pinpoint the location where the man had fled.
A search warrant was granted and Tyler R. Fegert, 23, of Othello, was arrested and booked on charges of suspicion of eluding, DUI and two counts of hit and run.
No one was injured during this incident.
