Idaho State Police honor guard for the funeral of Washington State Patrol trooper Chris Gadd

EVERETT, Wash. – The Idaho State Police (ISP) attended and were part of the honor guard for the funeral of Washington State Patrol trooper Chris Gadd.

ISP’s Facebook states that “The Idaho State Police was honored to stand as part of the honor guard during the funeral procession for Washington Trooper Chris Gadd, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on March 2, 2024, in Marysville, Washington. Trooper Gadd’s unwavering dedication to duty and public service not only impacted his local community but resonated across state lines, leaving a lasting impact on the law enforcement community.”

Gadd died in the line of duty after he was struck by a car near Marysville in the early morning of March 2.

“As we pay our respects and bid farewell to a fallen hero who made the ultimate sacrifice, we reaffirm our oath to uphold the principles of honor, integrity, and service,” ISP Facebook says “Trooper Chris Gadd will not be forgotten.”
