SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A fire at a trailer park in Spokane Valley displaced three people and one dog Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters with the Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to reports of smoke coming out of the windows of a unit at the Inland Village Mobile Home Park shortly before 1:30 p.m.

When they arrived at the house, firefighters helped rescue two people. AMR medics checked on the two to see if they had any injuries or complications from smoke-inhalation.

Crews put the fire out shortly after arriving, however firefighters did request an upgrade to a second-alarm fire in order to get more units to the scene faster.
