SPOKANE, Wash.- A fire emanating from an electrical panel during the early hours of Feb. 19 caused heavy smoke damage to Sparky’s Subs on East Mission Avenue.
The Spokane Fire Department was notified of the fire by several callers who saw smoke. Firefighters arrived on the scene and searched the building while hosing down the blaze, finding no one inside.
The source of the fire, a faulty electrical panel, was quickly located and the fire was extinguished. There is no information currently as to the financial extent of the damage.
