SPOKANE, Wash. — A murder suspect from Federal Way was captured in Spokane on Saturday.
The Spokane Police Department says on Friday, they were told a suspect in a homicide investigation in Federal Way was possibly headed to Spokane as he was known to frequent the area in the past.
SPD says the suspect, Daniel Bray, was to be considered armed as ‘he was involved in the manufacture of un-serialized rifles and was reportedly armed with a 9mm handgun.’ On Saturday, May 2nd just before noon members of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) along with SPD SWAT and the Air Support Unit (ASU) obtained information on a possible location for Bray.
Bray was taken into custody without incident shortly after being observed near One Spokane Stadium.
SPD says Bray, 42, was then turned over to law enforcement from Federal Way.
