SPOKANE, Wash. — A federal judge sentenced a Tekoa man to 25 years in prison for multiple child sex offenses.
In federal court, 34-year-old William Morse pleaded guilty to child sex trafficking. As part of his plea, Morse will also plead guilty to additional crimes in Spokane Superior Court including child rape and molestation.
Court documents show Morse contacted minors who had posted babysitting ads on Craigslist. Morse asked a 15-year-old if she wanted to make quick money and paid her for sex.
Morse attempted to contact another minor via Craigslist for sex but she denied his offer.
Following Morse’s prison sentence, he will spend the rest of his life on supervised.
Morses next court date in Spokane Superior Court is set for July.
