HAYDEN, Idaho — The Kootenai County Farmers Markets are getting ready to kick off its 2026 season next weekend!
The first farmers market of the season will take place on May 2 at Highway 95 and Prairie Avenue in Hayden from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Opening day will feature live music, fresh produce, artisan goods, and more. Families will also be able to enjoy free face painting and a balloon artist for kids.
Free parking is available on site, with additional parking at Grace Bible Church nearby.
No dogs are allowed at the Saturday market. Admission is free.
If you can’t make the Saturday market, there will be another market on Wednesday, May 6 at Riverstone in Coeur d’Alene. The Wednesday market will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Both markets will run all season long. Cash is encouraged but most vendors accept credit and debit cards.
