GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — UPDATE: The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says evacuation notices have been canceled for a wildfire in rural Soap Lake.
Firefighters are still in the area working to mop up the fire.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is telling people near Road 18.8 NE/Division .5 NE in Soap Lake to prepare to evacuate.
The Sheriff’s Office says there is currently a wildfire in the area.
Anyone in the area should leave if they are in danger. Residents should prepare to leave their homes at a moment’s notice.
