RATHDRUM, Idaho — A 16-year-old girl died from a crash near Rathdrum on Friday afternoon.
According to Idaho State Police, the Rathdrum teen was driving north on State Highway 41 just before 2:30 p.m. when she lost control and hit a traffic light pole at Wyoming Avenue.
The teen was taken to a nearby hospital where she died from her injuries the next day.
ISP says the teen was wearing her seatbelt when the crash happened.
The crash is still under investigation.
