Hit and run crash injures 19-year-old in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Washington State Patrol is looking for the people who fled the scene of a hit and run crash that left a 19-year-old injured in Spokane Valley on Saturday evening.

According to WSP, a black 2016 Toyota Scion was driving north on State Route 27 near Sprague Avenue around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Another vehicle, driven by a 19-year-old from Clarkston, was driving west on Sprague Avenue and turning onto State Route 27.

WSP says the black Scion didn’t stop at the red traffic signal and crashed into the other car.

The two people inside the Scion then ran away from the scene on foot.

The 19-year-old driver of the other car was taken to the hospital for his injuries.

WSP says if you saw this crash or have information about the people that fled, call Trooper Turnbull at 509-227-6566.
