Domestic violence suspect shot by Spokane Valley deputy identified

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash, – The domestic violence suspect shot by a Spokane Valley deputy last week was identified.

Washington State Patrol (WSP) said Dallas L. Robinson, 30, remains hospitalized in serious condition after being shot that Tuesday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 14, Spokane Valley deputies were called to a domestic violence incident on East 10th Avenue in Spokane Valley. They found Robinson had an active domestic violence warrant for his arrest.

After arriving on the scene, Deputy Anthony Gosline fired his weapon, ultimately injuring Robinson. Deputy Gosline has been placed on administrative leave by the standard procedure for instances where a deputy fires their weapon.

On Nov. 15, the sheriff’s office said in a release that the deputies found the man armed with a gun. He remains in the hospital in serious condition.
