OTHELLO, Wash.- A car crash which took place the morning of Feb. 15 on State Route 17 near Othello resulted in three deaths.
Washington State Patrol report that Manuela Franco Huerta was driving her corolla southbound on Route 17 with two passengers when she lost control of her car and slid into the opposing lane.
The car collided with an incoming semi-truck. Brini Moranflores, one of Huerta’s passengers, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second passenger, a 14 year old boy, died at Othello Community Hospital, where Huerta also succumbed to her injuries.
The truck driver was unharmed.
