Crash involving Amazon-branded semi truck sends 1 to hospital

SPOKANE, Wash. – One person was transported to the hospital after a crash involving an Amazon-branded semi-truck just outside the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Monday.

According to Spokane County Fire District 3 (SCFD3), around 10:10 p.m. on Jan. 29, a car was driving on West Geiger Boulevard when the semi-truck and car collided.

SCFD3 said the call was upgraded to an extrication response to safely get the driver of the car out of the vehicle. The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. We do not know if the driver of the semi-truck was transported to the hospital; they are expected to be okay.

The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
