SPOKANE, Wash. – A childhood cancer survivor made a crucial pit stop in Spokane recently.

Gabe Tesch was diagnosed with brain cancer at 11 years old, where he received extensive treatment at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. After about a year of treatment, Tesch says he is not just a childhood cancer survivor but a professional race car driver.

Recently, Tesch visited the hospital “to share some of his winning spirit with our young patients,” Providence Inland Northwest said.

Earlier this year, a documentary describing Tesch’s life premiered at the First Interstate Center for the Arts in Spokane. If you want to watch the film, you can find it on Amazon Prime Video.
