SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A man is in custody in connection to the rape of a child after Spokane Valley deputies found a car in connection to the incident.
According to the Spokane Valley Police Department (SVPD), deputies found a vehicle connected to a child rape suspect near the 4800 South Progress Court. Deputies went to the home nearby, where the suspect was located.
SVPD confirmed the suspect is in custody in connection to the rape of a child.
Deputies with SVPD and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
Deputies at the scene declined to provide any other information about the investigation at this time. This remains an active investigation.
