Ahead of demolition, prosecutors visit King Road home

MOSCOW, Idaho – In just one week, the house in Moscow, Idaho, which has served as a painful reminder of what happened here, will likely be no more.

After more than a year the place where four University of Idaho students were killed will be torn down next Thursday morning.

Prosecutors spent about two hours at the home today along King road in Moscow, Idaho.

They were there from about 10 this morning until noon.

We don’t know much about their visit, but it’s believed prosecutors are collecting as much evidence as they can to help their case against Bryan Kohberger, the suspected murderer.

Back in November 2022 Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle were killed in the home.

Among the items prosecutors and police took from the home were a knife sheath with what prosecutors say has Kohberger’s DNA on it.

Last week Kohberger’s defense team took photos and measurements throughout the home over the course of two days.

Kohberger’s trial was set to start in October but was delayed, and Both sides are using the time to help strengthen their cases.

Now that both sides have visited the home, and as long as there is no objection from either side, the home will come down.

The house will be torn down as a “healing step.”

We will be on scene as it happens both on-air and on our Nonstop Local website and app.
