SPOKANE, Wash. – Seeking expansion, the popular Chick-fil-A is exploring a second spot in the Spokane area.

Chick-fil-A opened its doors to Spokane back in December of 2020. The location has had huge success and still remains busy daily.

According to our partners at the Spokesman Review the company plans to spend about $2.1 million dollars on the newest location.

Permits submitted show the company plans to open on the southeast corner of Mission Avenue and Ruby Street near the Gonzaga University campus.

The construction of the new location would require the demolition of at least seven existing homes that are owned by ALVCO according to the Spokesman.

The City of Spokane has reviewed and authorized plans to undergo a state environmental policy review so far.
