CDA Fire Department pauses use of Johnson & Johnson vaccine

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department is pausing their at home Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

The fire department said they made this decision after the CDC and FDA recommended the pause in use of the vaccine. The CDC and FDA making this move after six people developed a rare blood clotting disorder.

The Panhandle Health District has also paused their use of the J&J vaccine.
