Breezy Tuesday with another chance for showers

A breezy day is in store for us, along with our last rain chances for a few days. Temperatures will continue to warm all the way through Bloomsday weekend!

Plan Your Tuesday

Our slow warming trend continues today with highs in the low to mid 60s. Much of the Columbia Basin will be close to 70. There is a 10 to 20 percent chance of mountain thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday Night. Most of these storms will appear in Northeast Washington, the Northern Idaho Panhandle, and Northwest Montana. Further south, the I-90 corridor will only get a stray sprinkle. It will stay breezy throughout the day with gusts of 20 to 30 mph.

What We’re Tracking

High pressure strengthens through the week, bringing highs into the 70s on Thursday and Friday. A storm system approaches us Friday night and Saturday, but so far it looks to not have much impact besides a slight chance of a shower. High pressure will be even stronger to end the weekend, making for some warm weather for Bloomsday and early next week. Is Spokane’s first 80-degree day of 2026 on the horizon? Time will tell.
