His trip to the key battleground state on Thursday comes as he faces sharp criticism from Arab and Muslim leaders over his handling of the war in Gaza. Some refused to meet with Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, on Friday. Biden won Michigan in 2020, but a repeat victory is in doubt as he runs for reelection.
