SPOKANE, Wash.- Avista has announced a program which lowers energy bills for qualifying individuals and families.
Discounts are determined by income level and the amount of people living in a household. Those who fall under a certain income threshold will receive a discounted energy bill each month. Entitled My Energy Discount, the program is available across counties in eastern Washington.
The program was launched in October, and has seen over 30,000 enrollments in its initial stages. Avista estimates that 100,000 people who are eligible for discounts have not enrolled.
