The unusual warmth continues today, but a small dip in temperatures is coming for tomorrow.
Plan Your Monday
Monday features warm temperatures and breezy north winds between 10 and 20 mph. Wind gusts will reach up to 30 mph at times in the Columbia Basin. Temperatures will climb into the 70s and 80s in the afternoon with a shift in the winds overnight, promoting some cooler air for Tuesday. A couple of mountain showers are possible this evening, with rain chances at 5% or less for any given point in the Inland Northwest.
What We’re Tracking
Tuesday will be pleasant with slightly cooler and drier air taking over for one day. Highs will only reach the upper 60s and low 70s, cool compared to the last few days but still well above average for early May. Looking ahead to Friday, a more significant weather system arrives with stronger wind gusts and not much, if any rain.
Unfortunately, there’s not much moisture in the forecast for any point this week. An occasional mountain shower or isolated thunderstorm is possible, but it will be difficult to see any notable impact from such little activity.
