RATHDRUM, Idaho — Deputies with the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a domestic battery incident involving Rathdrum Mayor Mike Hill.
According to deputies, Rathdrum police responded to the report around 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
When it was determined the investigation involved Mayor Hill, KCSO took over to avoid a conflict of interest.
The sheriff’s office did not provide any more details on the incident or if any arrests occurred.
