Aircraft briefly shuts down runways after landing with flat tire

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane International Airport runways were closed after an aircraft landed with a flat tire on Oct. 29.

According to officials, the plane caused runways to close from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. while the aircraft was safely towed away.

The pilot was the only person onboard the plane, and no injuries were reported.

The runways are now back to normal operations.
