RITZVILLE, Wash. – Adams County deputies are seeking information on a wanted suspect who drove recklessly and fled police.
On March 6, at around 5:23 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle at North Batum Road and East Rosenoff Road in Ritzville.
The person identified as Daniel Wayne Gill was stopped by deputies while being stopped Gill was found to have a suspended license.
Deputies approached Gill but he refused to cooperate and fled in his vehicle. Police then pursued Gill but was still refusing to stop and attempted to blind police with his flashlight.
Eventually, deputies had to end the pursuit for safety reasons. Later that night, Gill was spotted seeking help for his broken-down vehicle, but he fled the scene on foot.
His vehicle was later found abandoned after being involved in a collision. It was seized as evidence. Gill is wanted for charges including eluding law enforcement, obstruction, and driving with a suspended license.
