AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — Two people were displaced from their home Saturday morning after their fifth wheel travel trailer caught fire.
Firefighters with Spokane County Fire District 10 responded to the fire after 10 a.m. on Brooks Road, where the found smoke coming from a fifth wheel travel trailer.
No one was injured in the fire, but paramedics did check out the owner of the trailer for smoke inhalation he sustained while rushing into the trailer to save a cat.
District 10 Deputy Chief Andres Steevens said the cause of the fire was not identified. An investigation remained underway.
