BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — A 53-year-old woman pled guilty and was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Monday for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl in Bonner County.

53-year-old Kristy Miller was arrested on May 10 when deputies and detectives found over 200 Fentanyl pills, a safe, drug ledgers, a digital scale, unused zip-loc bags, burnt foil with a partial fentanyl pill, hollow plastic tubes for smoking, over $500 in cash and about two grams of methamphetamine in her home.

This was a months long investigation into the distribution of fentanyl pills in west Bonner County. Detectives got a search warrant for a home in the 600 block of Maple Avenue.

There was evidence that this was the home where the woman, distributing Fentanyl pills into the community, lived.

Once the Sheriff’s Office deputies, detectives and officers from the City of Priest River Police Department found these items, they arrested Miller.

As she was booked into jail, she was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (fentanyl) and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

53-year-old Kristy Miller pled guilty to possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver on Oct. 16. She has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, four years determinate and eight years indeterminate.
