Whitman County deputies arrest burglary carrying a gun, meth near Farmington

COLFAX, Wash. – On Thursday evening, Whitman County deputies arrested a burglar trying to rob a property just south of Farmington.

According to Whiteman County Sheriff’s Office Facebook, on Feb. 22 law enforcement were able to stop the robbery in progress and arrest Simeon Lippert, a 33-year-old from Missoula, Mont.

While Whitman deputies were arresting Lippert they located a loaded gun in his possession. Lippert admitted to Whitman deputies that he had stolen the gun in Missoula and brought it for the burglary. Lippert also had a small quantity of meth with him as well.

During the investigation deputies also learned of an additional suspect in the burglary, 56-year-old Cyththia Dvorak from Colfax. She was located and taken into custody for her alleged involvement in the property crime. She also was carrying a small amount of meth as well.

Lippert was booked into the Whitman County Jail on charges of first-degree burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.

Dvorak was also booked into jail on charges of first-degree burglary, and possession of a controlled substance.
