SPOKANE — A driver crashed into a building near the intersection of Sprague and University Friday morning, prompting an emergency response from Spokane Valley Fire Department crews.
The crash occurred just after 11:15 a.m. when a vehicle struck a building in the area. SVFD crews responded to the scene and safely extracted the driver from the vehicle.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Emergency responders determined that the building sustained no structural damage from the impact.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional injuries were reported at the scene.
Spokane Valley Fire Department has not released additional details about the circumstances leading to the collision or the specific location of the building that was struck.
