MOSCOW, Idaho — University of Idaho president, Scott Green, has co-authored a book that outlines his approach to leading the school through three major crises.

In “University President’s Crisis Handbook,” it tells the story of how an industry outsider led his alma mater through deep budget deficits, the COVID-19 pandemic and a tragic crime against four U of I students.

Green shares how, ” the university achieved financial solvency, set records for enrollment, research awards and fundraising and continues to support a community that is still healing.”

Green and co-author Temple Kinyon, who is also a vandal alumni, will be signing copies of their book at 12 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the Vandal Store in Moscow. They will also be signing books at the Legacy Pont Room at the Idaho Water Center in Boise on Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m.

University President’s Crisis Handbook” will be available to purchase nationwide on Dec 7 and all proceeds for the book will go to support the Vandal Healing Garden and Memorial.
