POST FALLS, Idaho — Two stores in North Idaho are closed due to burst pipes as a result of frigid temperatures.
According to Kootenai County Fire Chief Chris Way, Goodwill on 4040 East 16th
Avenue closed the store after a pipe burst in the front entry.
Yolks on Seltice is also closed after a pipe burst that caused a quarter to a third of the store to be flooded.
Both stores declined help from Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO).
Way said he hasn’t seen conditions like this in a long time, and it’s “extremely unprecedented.”
