Two Spokane police officers who shot and killed man named

SPOKANE, Wash. – The names of the two officers who shot and killed a man on Easter Sunday have been released by the Spokane Police Department.

Officers Brandon Roy and Andrew Willis were the two officers who shot and killed Alan Jenks after he allegedly became uncooperative while being questioned in a potential arson case.

Nicholes Whitney was later charged with several counts of arson related to the Sunday incident.

According to the Spokane County Medical Examiner Jenks’ death was a homicide. He sustained several gunshot wounds to his torso and limbs.

Six people have been shot and killed by law enforcement in Spokane County so far in 2024.
