High pressure builds over the Inland Northwest on Thursday, bringing stable conditions with clear to partly cloudy skies. High temperatures will reach the middle to upper 70s for most communities.
What We’re Tracking
A weather system arrives Friday afternoon and evening, bringing gusty winds to the region. Wind gusts between 35 and 40 mph are expected for Wenatchee and Moses Lake, while the Palouse could see gusts up to 30 mph. We’ll see more cloud cover, but rain is unlikely. This windy pattern repeats on Mother’s Day after a nice and sunny Saturday. High pressure starts building again on Monday with a better chance for 80-degree highs in the Spokane area.
