Thousands expected to visit Spokane for State B Basketball

SPOKANE, Wash. – Some of the smallest schools in the state are traveling to Spokane to compete for state championships this week.

This year’s State B tournament will be at the Spokane Veteran Memorial Arena from Feb. 28, through March 2.

According to Spokane Sports, there will be 960 athletes playing, 30 officials, 2,000 projected visiting spectators, and 1,500 hotel rooms booked for Spokane.

Some schools allow kids to skip school days to attend this tournament every year and support their team.

Every year State B brings an estimated $2-4 million in economic revenue.

Single day tickets are $14 for adults, $11 for military, seniors, children and students.

4-day passes are $52 for adults, $40 for everyone else.
