Teton County Sheriff’s Office search for missing 10-month-old baby in Idaho

TETON COUNTY, Idaho — The Teton County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who may be connected to a homicide and kidnapping of a 10-month-old baby who was last seen at his home in Victor.

Police say that 10-month-old Zeke Best was last seen at his home at 4600 Skyline Loop in Victor, Idaho. Deputies were called to the home for a disturbance on Nov. 30 around 11:30 p.m.

When they went inside, they found a female, Zeke’s mother, dead. Police are currently investigating the cause and manner of her death.

Detectives are searching for 48-year-old Jeremy Best, Zeke’s biological father, who is believed to have fled the area with his son.

Jeremy is 5’11”, weighs 245 pounds, has brown hair, green eyes and a gray beard. He may be seen driving a 1995 black Chevy Tahoe with Idaho plates #1T39349.

Police believe that he may be armed and dangerous, so if you see him you are urged to not approach him and to call 911.

At this time, law enforcement does not know where Jeremy may be taking Zeke. Police do know that he does have connections in Alpine and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
